Some members in the organization are active not only during the course of a given year, but over a number of years. Their individual accomplishments during a given year may or may not warrant special attention; however, their level of support is significant and consistent over time. This outstanding commitment to the Department of Missouri should be recognized. The individual must have been a member in good standing for a minimum of five years.

Process

There is no specific requirement to make this award on a routine basis. This award is for special recognition only. Department members interested in recognizing an individual for Meritorious Service award should submit their nominations to the Department Senior Vice Commander. The nomination shall be reviewed by the Awards Committee and a recommendation subsequently submitted to the Department Commander. The award shall then be presented at the annual Department Encampment.
