All reports are to be in writing with copies given to the Department Commander and Department Secretary prior to the beginning of each meeting.

Motions made at Department meetings will be given in written form to the Secretary by the end of the meeting at which they are made.

The Budget format and due date to be presented for review and adoption by the Commander and Council of the Department at the October 2006 Department meeting.

The annual budget will be prepared by the Commander, in conversation with the Department Treasurer, before each Department Encampment beginning with the 2007 Encampment. The budget is to be reviewed by the Council and approved by the voting membership at each Encampment.

Brothers are required, according to the Rituals of the Order, to present their current SUVCW membership card at all Department meetings. Without proper credentials voting privileges will be denied.

Brothers are required to wear the appropriate badge to all Department meetings. Failure to do so will result in a $10.00 fine for the Commander and a $2.00 fine for all other members. Proceeds for all fines will be deposited in the Past Commanders Fund. This has been voted on and approved by the Department of Missouri 2006.

Each Camp Commander will appoint a Camp Historian. Said person will compile a complete history of their Camp. That history should include annual memberships, annual camp activities, photos and other pertinent historical information. The goal for completion is June 2007. The Camp History will be displayed at the Department Encampment and then reported to the National Encampment. The Department Historian will be available to provide assistance to the Camps.

Each Camp will take steps to archive its records by microfilm media. The goal for completion is June 2008. The Department Archivist will be available to provide assistance to the Camps.

In Fraternity, Charity & Loyalty,

John D. Avery, Commander
Department of Missouri
