It is with sadness that this department acknowledges the loss of a long time member of US Grant Camp #68, Craig Brown of St. Louis. Craig has served repeatedly as council for the Grant Camp and until recently regularly attended meetings.

Therefore, the Department will once again be in mourning for a period of one month effective today. The Department of Missouri and the US Grant Camp Flag when displayed will be draped with a black ribbon. The Department Charter will be covered in black when displayed. All members of the department will wear black on their membership badges anytime they are worn until September 7, 2007.

Finally, with the national encampment occurring in our state this weekend, it may be difficult to have the website draped in black in his memory; however, it will be done as expeditiously as possible. The information regarding the Sherman Camp will stay on the home page during this time pursuant to my General Orders #1.

If I am informed of additional information regarding Craig or funeral arrangements, I will send that out.
