Stumbaugh Post 180 (right- now, 2010 -left) Rather than save the only building in Missouri ever built specifically for the purpose of being a Grand Army of the Republic hall (as stated in the 2000 National Register documentation) the new owners of the property, a church, tore it down only 7 years after being placed on the register. The hall in Austin, MO, disappeared into memory, but...Hey! at least they put a marker up!
