Fletcher Camp & Volker Auxiliary Upcoming Activities
Sat., June 20, 2026 (all day) – Moses Austin Festival, Potosi, MO – Encampment & Living History Day in Potosi’s Heritage Park – Need a head count. Also, food is on your own (food trucks should be available). We will have a camp scene set up, so a few tents, a couple flies, and people in uniform / period dress are encouraged (but if you don’t have or don’t dress up you are still welcome). Please bring period chairs or stools to sit in on and try to avoid modern cups / Styrofoam / plastic while public is around. NO FIRING OF MUSKETS.
Sat., July 4, 2026 – DeSoto 4th of July Parade – (meet by Mahn’s Funeral Home on Main St. – need to be there by 9am, as they close the streets off) Kelly has volunteered to drive. Need everyone (regardless if you dress up or not)
Sat. July 4th, 2026 – Waterloo, Illinois hosting an America’s 250th Celebration (contact Deb Cambron 636-937-3694 if interested)
Sat. July 18th, 2026 – (Grant Camp #68) U.S. Grant Remembrance Day Ceremony at Ulysses S. Grant NHS (White Haven) @ 10am more info to come (guest speaker in theater afterwards)
Fri-Sun, July 24-26, 2026 (10am-4pm daily) – Occupy Bloomfield Civil War History Reenactment (Stars & Stripes Museum, Bloomfield, MO – Contact Sheila Porter (573-238-2023) for more info
Sat. August 22, 2026 – Bank Raid Reenactment Event (St. James Camp #326) in Ste. Genevieve, MO – 10am -3pm Civil War Living History & Encampment behind the Felix Valle SHS, then Bank Raid at 11am) Really need guys in uniform & ladies in period attire for this one!

Sept. 19, 2026 (9am-4pm) – Pre-Civil War Living History for NPS at Grant’s Farm – We have been asked about doing a living history by Hardscrabble (Grant’s Cabin) for the U.S. Grant National Historic Site, but at Grant’s Farm.
